Kohetry Festival (Est 2021)
Kohetry Festival was founded in May 2021 and took place over a 4-day bank holiday period to bring poets across the nation together to celebrate their love of poetry, music & good food. There were open mics & ciphers & rap battles. We live & breathe poetry! But more importantly, COMMUNITY. Following the success of that event, we are bringing you The Kohetry Winter Solstice Festival 2022, an end of year event to celebrate the past year of Poetry, community & networking. A safe space of inclusivity to unite, celebrate and nurture the growth of creatives & the wider community no matter what walk of life you come from. Let's walk together & share some poetry along the way. Ethics & Ethos (Mission Statement): A safe space to nurture community, growth & to network. A space of acceptance, where you are seen, heard & valued. Where we lead with love, kindness & compassion. A space free from exploitation & judgment. No hate speech, no vulgar or graphic content. No antisocial behaviour or drug usage.
