The EventOut of this World Carnival Day 2023 Leicester Caribbean Carnival 2023 welcomes everyone to Victoria Park, Leicester, on the 5th of August. Our theme for this year is “Out of this World”. The Carnival village will be open from 10am and activities begin with the official Opening Ceremony at the De Montfort Hall on Granville Road entrance at 12 noon. This year Promises several new additions to our programme. There will be four performance areas, including the Main Stage with a full line up of artists. Abashanti will be back to perform this Carnival. Also at the Carnival village is the ever-popular Soca Village, Viking Sound System in the troupe's performance area. As usual, there will be the Funfair, but this year, it will feature a children’s village. You will have to opportunity to view the latest Toyota vehicles in the Carnival village. Preparations for the carnival parade are in full swing and this year the parade will be led by Leicester Toyota.
